Love is when two intertwined lives find their perfect timing
A Journey in Love
Love is about timing.
After returning from Edinburgh, Putri reconnected with old friends. In one of those conversations, Shaflian’s name came up, casually mentioned as someone worth meeting. From there, little signs of matchmaking quietly began to appear.
From our very first exchange, the conversation flowed easily. We discovered we had many mutual friends, so many that another friend had also been planning to introduce us. Along the way, we found countless similarities, shared interests, similar tastes, and a love for cats. One funny coincidence stood out: Shaflian’s cat happened to share a name strikingly similar to Putri’s nickname. Copi to Gopi.
Looking back, it’s almost amusing how many chances we had to meet earlier. Our paths often overlapped: one of Putri’s close friends studied in the same major as Shaflian, and she had even attended an architecture exhibition he organized. Yet we never crossed paths until the moment the universe chose for us.
Perhaps that’s what timing truly means: meeting when hearts are ready, when we have grown enough, and when we can finally walk side by side.
